Konka Soweto has confirmed that the news of Drake coming to South Africa is all fake news.

A fake KONKA account made the announcement earlier today that the A-list club was bringing global megastar rapper Drake to South Africa on the 10th of March.
In a series of fake posts the page announced that the tickets to the exclusive event will cost R20 000 per person and R30 000 for a VIP experience.

Konka Soweto publicist Linda Moeketsi also warned party lovers, and Drake fans not to buy the tickets as this was all a scam.

In September 2021, Drake dropped his sixth studio album, one of his biggest album Certified Lover Boy which sold 613,000 equivalent albums sales in its first week out, debuting at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 chart.
According to reports earlier this month, Drake’s ‘Certified Lover Boy’ is the only 2021 Rap Album eligible for double-platinum status.
Drake previous performed in South Africa at The Ticketpro Dome which announced that it will be closing its doors permanently in September.
