Pearl Thusi has landed her second Netflix role since starring in Queen Sono.
The South African actress has been cast in the platforms’ stand-alone martial arts film, Wu Assassins: Fistful of Vengeance.
Wu Assassins is a popular series on Netflix which follows a San Francisco chef who becomes the latest assassin chosen to keep the powers of Wu from falling into the wrong hands.
Fistful Of Vengeance, is an action-packed adventure that brings back Kai Jin, Lu Xin Lee, Tommy Wah, & Zan Hui as the Wu Assassins team avenges the death of one of their own.
Premiering on the streaming platform on 17 February, Pearl said she can’t wait for everyone to see it.
Her co-star in the film, Lewis Tan shared that the energy between the cast was real.
Filming wrapped in Thailand in April 2021.
This isn’t Pearl’s first international role, as she previously starred in the US series Quantico, opposite Priyanka Chopra.
