South African media personality, Somizi Mhlongo, has shared a heartfelt message to encourage all those who are going through a difficult time.

“Every time you feel fearful of anything that is your goal, and your drive, and your dream, please do not give up,” said the reality star.

He then went on to share how this festive season is like no other due to all the challenges faced this year.
“I felt this festive season is not festive at all. I’m not feeling it and I understand why and I’m sure a lot of people can relate to that,” he said.
“This year has been a kak year, but I always see the silver lining in every dark cloud and the silver line in my dark cloud was that one, one I’m alive, two I’m standing, three I’m the chosen one, four I don’t walk alone. I walk with my ancestors, and I walk with God and that is why I’m here,” he said.
The media personality encouraged South Africans to not only focus on the dark clouds.
“Find your silver lining because you do not want to give the devil the joy of seeing you failing,” he said.
He motivated people to be hopeful for a better 2022.

“It’s tough, but don’t give up. 2022 is an opportunity again. You are privileged. Imagine and think of everyone, some of the people that we have lost. They do not have this opportunity right now. So, please be grateful. It’s going to be okay,” he said.
