In The Morning with Thomas and Skhumba today, Anonymous called In to seek advice as she suspects she was scammed after purchasing a dress through Instagram Boutique.
“On Instagram, a lady sells beautiful clothes, and I decided to order in August. She’s been taking her time, and now, it’s been three months. Since last month I’ve been checking up on how far, but she keeps making excuses,” Anonymous said.
“She decided that she was going to refund me, but I’m still waiting. I see her active on Instagram and fulfilling other orders; it’s frustrating.”

“I agree with Skhumba; this could be a scam. She must forget. If she’s legit, she will reply.”

“This is sad; I’m a fashion designer myself. She has used that money; we are really just working on trust. You get different clients and panic, so you need to entertain them. She must expose that person.”

“Go to the bank and record them as a fraud, and they will freeze the account. That’s how I got my money back.”

“The same thing happened to my sister; she found an account that exposes those accounts. If you tag her, she’ll see it and the more people tag her, she’ll lose business.”
