Sello Maake kaNcube has been in the acting industry for an incredible 40 years.
While many remember him as Archie Moroka, an iconic star of a South African soap opera Generations which first premiered on SABC 1 in 1993.
His career had already took of by then. The legendary actor took to social media to share that he would receive a honorary award for his excellent work in the entertainment space for the past four decades.

Maake kaNcube also shared that his wife Pearl Mbewe turned 40 on Wednesday, 10 November.
Sello wrote: “#40yearsintheindustry and tomorrow we celebrate my wife’s 40th birthday while I receive an Honorary award! @Solopearl hold on tight, this plane is taking off. What more can a man ask for except for some peace and happiness! Thank you everyone for your love!”
