What is a quarrel free weekend?
It is a weekend where you and your partner have a chilled time with no fights. You don’t even shout at the kids.
On Friday’s episode of The Best T in the city, Uncle T asked the listeners to share what’s preventing them from having a chilled weekend at home.
3TSpoons on how you and your partner can have a quarrel-free weekend:
No fighting
Most couples fight on weekends because that’s when they have time alone to discuss their problems.
However, a weekend off should have no fights. Shouting at the kids is also off-limits.
Get enough sleep
Most people start experiencing fatigue toward the end of the year – the end of the week is for resting.
Be happy
Weekends are there to allow us to focus on things that make things happy like having a braai with the family.
Social media reactions
Parents miss out a lot on their children’s lives because of go bala about things that can be fixed without shouting. Just for one weekend, chill with your kids without shouting about something that can be fixed without shouting (izitsha ziyawasheka bazali) #NixMabalabalaWeekend
