With AKA out and Cassper in as the new host of The Braai Show which was not only previously hosted by Kiernan Forbes but he remains an executive producer on co-owning 50% of the show.
The adage ‘keep your friends close and your enemies closer’ seems to be taken literally by the rival rappers and the news motivated the discussion on Kaya Drive with Sizwe Dhlomo on “Whether you would work for/hire your enemy?”
As it stands, AKA’s PR company has released a statement around the announcement of the new host, saying “Kiernan Forbes and his management team are aware of the insinuations that “The Braai Show” will go ahead with a new presenter in its second season.”
“Although not suprised by the opportunism, Mr. Forbes does not regret the lack of integrity and legal foresight by those who have sought to proceed with the incompetently sanctioned plan.”
While AKA is out and Cassper is in, the new host has been typing up a storm on social media creating a buzz about the show which goes live in September. Now being dubbed, The Braai Show with Cass the show will air on Wednesday at 6pm as from the 8th of September.

South Africans who have been keeping up with the stars’ feud over the years, couldn’t help but ask if AKA really hired Cassper. Judging by AKA’s statement to have his legal team expedite the impasse and Cassper’s dismissal that he was hired by his rival, there’s bound to be more BEEF hitting The Braai Show.
Lol.. Does this even make sense when you read it ? CASSPER NYOVEST ? Hired by who? No boys but whatever makes it feel better. Not gonna discuss my business online unless its necessary. Can’t wait 4 yall to see the show on Sabc1!!!! Remember, the hashtag is #TheBraaiShowWithCass https://t.co/0kSBtDq1Qb
