The case concerning the six accused in the Zandspruit mob attack has been postponed to the 23rd of June.
The court has received the certificate from the state’s lawyers defining the bail matter as a schedule six.
Schedule six means that exceptional circumstances exist to permit release from jail.
The suspects will remain in custody before the bail application is heard.

It was a long day at the Roodepoort magistrates court where aggrieved family members of the deceased and those accused have heard the outcomes of Wednesday’s proceedings.
Families of the deceased are requesting counselling and assistance from the state. One of the mother’s who lost her son in the attacks can be seen on video deeply emotional as she recounts how they took her son on that fateful morning.
She explains that his burial cost her R21 000 and the only help received was for the cost of the grave.
