Popular Nigerian prophet TB Joshua was laid to rest on Friday, 9 July.
He was buried in a mausoleum on Synagogue, Church of All Nations (SCOAN), premises in the Ikotun area of Lagos.
According to BBC, his burial was attended by thousands of mourners.
The funeral comes after a week-long funeral ceremony in honour of the late televangelist which was held at the church premises and was attended by dignitaries from around the world.
His children described him as a father who was devoted to prayer.
Joshua’s wife explained that their lives were filled with trials.
“The lion himself, I have spent 31 years with my husband, T.B.J, the man in the synagogue, that is the name I fondly call him. Our lives were not without trials and tests and as a Christian, I know trials and tests cannot break the one who relies on God’s strength,” she said in her tribute speech.
Joshua died after a church service at SCOAN on June 5, which was broadcast on his popular television station, Emmanuel TV.
He was 57-years-old and a few days to his 58th birthday. Born on 12 June 1963, Joshua died a few days short of his 58th birthday.
