A video of King Mswati’s children mocking protesters in eSwatini has left many shocked following the eruption of widespread protest action.
His children took to their social media accounts with a live video taunting those who wish to see democracy in the country.

King Mswati III of the Kingdom of Eswatini has allegedly fled the kingdom amidst pro-democracy protests that have spiraled out of control.

Protesters are aggrieved by the economic decline and are demanding an elected Prime Minister under a Constitutional Monarch and want freedom of speech amongst other things.
The kingdom is one of the world’s last remaining absolute monarchies and is ruled by King Mswati III who was crowned in 1986 at the age of 18, succeeding his long-serving father King Sobhuza II, who died at the age of 82.
