Riky Rick’s mother Louisa Zondo, has shared how Major League DJs were present when the rapper was in his final moments.
Riky Rick died by suicide on February 23, 2022, in Johannesburg following a long battle with depression.

She recently took to instagram to shared more about the book, and how it grew from the loss of her son.
SA HipHop Magazine published a passage from Louisa’s recently published book in which she discussed what transpired on the tragic day that Riky Rick died by suicide.
“Sheikani called to say Rikhado’s friend Bheki Nkentshane had managed to pry the studio key out from under the gap at the bottom of the door and unlocked it,”
“He and the Major League DJ twins Bandile and Banele Mbere found Rikhado hanging from a rafter and cut him down. A bellowing noise sent me rolling on the back seat of the car.” wrote Zondo.
