‘Long Live Supa Mega’: AKA billboards erected in Johannesburg.
The South African rapper AKA’s passing has left many South Africans with a heavy heart, and many continue to pay tribute to the icon.
A massive billboard has been constructed in his honour on William Nicol Drive.

The billboard features his image with a tribute message written “In Loving Memory of AKA Kiernan Jarryd Forbes: Long Live Supamega Live Long”

The hitmaker and his former manager and friend Tebello Tibz Motsoane were shot and killed last Friday in front of a popular Florida Road location.
On February 17, a public memorial service will honour the rapper, and the following day, a private funeral will be held in his honour.
Nota Baloyi claimed on Twitter that he was responsible for the AKA’s “Did this for you my boy… Long Live Supa Mega Live Long!”

Johnny Malepa, who also developed AKA’s Touch My Blood album cover in 2018, was responsible for the design of the billboard.
