EFF leader Julius Malema recently joined Clement Manyathela for an interview on SABC News.
One of the topics discussed was Malema’s relationship with former EFF member Floyd Shivambu. Malema noted that despite Shivambu’s departure, the EFF continues to thrive.
“The leadership of the EFF remains intact. Although his departure was painful, I got some sense of relief. I don’t know why. It was as if I had put down some heavy load. So it is not always that bad things will always produce bad results,” he said.
Malema also revealed that they are no longer close, as their relationship was built on a shared vision for revolution.
“I have anything to do with him. What brought us together was a common purpose. We met in the trenches.
“What brought us together was sharing a common agenda for the revolution. What brought us together no longer results. There is no need for a relationship,” said Malema in part.
On Wednesday morning, The Siz The World team held a spirited discussion about the dynamics of personal relationships with those you work with or do business with, and vice versa. Listen to the discussion below.
