A French robot might be the last resort to save the missing Titan submersible which vanished on Sunday, 18 June while attempting to explore the Titanic wreckage at the bottom of the Atlantic ocean.
A search for the Titan wielded “banging noises” near its last known location, which was discovered by a Canadian aircraft.
As rescuers race against the clock, the French vessel carrying an unmanned diving robot, “The Victor 6000” has arrived at the last known location of the Titan.
The French robot is capable of diving to depths that surpass that of the infamous Titanic wreckage.

In what is undoubtedly, a multi-million Dollar international rescue mission, teams from around the world have shared what is the most likely plan to rescue the Titan submersible.
The OceanGate sub which was supposed to float to the surface if there was a problem is believed to be stuck, either on the ocean floor or inside the Titanic wreckage itself.
Should The Victor not be able to lift the Titan itself, a crane would be used to lift the vessel up to the surface, hopefully before on-board oxygen supply runs out.
According to OceanGate, oxygen supply is expected to run out on Thursday, with the 5 occupants inside the sub possibly only left with about 3-hours of oxygen.
OceanGate charged eager tourists $250 000 (R 4 582 020 million) to be the first few people in the world to visit the iconic Titanic wreckage.
