Cassper Nyovest has helped build a water well at his former primary school
The North West Province has an urgent need for pure drinking water and the Quinton van der Burgh Foundation (QVDB Foundation) and South African superstar Cassper Nyovest have responded to this need.
The school received an R260 000 borehole and well sponsorship from the QVDB Foundation and the South African rapper and recording mogul.
Sol Plaatje Primary School in Mahikeng can now provide its 1357 students and 47 teachers with clean drinking water as a result of their effort.

In the shared video, Cassper met with his instructors and said it was among his happiest days ever.
A dream come true. Went back to my old primary school and built a water well with the help of @quintonvanderburgh and @qvdbfoundation . The kids were so happy, one of the happiest days of my life. Met some of my teachers and I’m sure they were proud to see how great their work was in my life. All the glory to God. Water is life, Let’s do more,” he captioned post.
