“All things are possible” – Kabelo Mabelane celebrates 21 years of being clean and sober.
Kabelo “Bouga Luv” Mabalane, a Kwaito legend, author, and businessman who has been open about his battle with drug addiction, is commemorating a significant turning point in his recovery from addiction.
He marked today as the day when has been sober and clean for 21 years.
In an episode of Mac G’s “Podcast and Chill,” Kabelo, who is now a pastor, disclosed that he had spent R2 million on drugs.
He explained how he first became addicted to alcohol and marijuana. Then he turned to cocaine. According to the musician, he consumed four to five grams daily. “So when you get home, go measure what a gram looks like and then times it by five. It messes you up financially,” said Mabelane,

He took to his Instagram to commemorate the milestone praising God almighty for his grace throughout the years.
“All things are possible because of unmerited, unearned, undeserved Grace.”
