We’ve all been in situations where something looks too good to be true, or is just outright unbelievable.
Sometimes, reality is crazy—crazier than anything a novelist or a really imaginative kid would be able to invent. In a world as wide and wild as ours, things are bound to get a little weird.
Sometimes we hear about or read up on things that are not that easy to believe. On such story is about a French footballer who was in a coma for 39 years. It takes a while to believe that’s a true story.
The Senegalese national 34-years old when he slipped into a coma after an anaesthetic error during knee surgery in 1982. He went on to play 22 times for the French national team from 1972 to 1976 and also made 41 appearances for Ligue 1 giants Paris-Saint Germain (PSG).
Senegalese-born former PSG and Nice player, Jean-Pierre Adams has passed away today after being in a coma for 39 years.
In 1982, he had a routine knee surgery but an error from the anaesthetist starved his brain of oxygen. His wife cared for him all those years.
