Thomas is tired of living alone whenever the kids are not around, so he’s considering getting a pet.
The only problem is that where he lives, pets are not allowed.
“Where I stay, I’m not allowed to get any pets. I’m a dog lover, and I want an intelligent pet that I can train.”
Furthermore, his son has told him that he wants a snake for his birthday. “My son comes to me and tells me that he wants to get a snake for his birthday.”
A caller who responded to this said that he does not believe that a snake would make a good pet in the kasi.
“Look, Thomas, a snake, can’t be a pet in the hood. Imagine if it gets lost, who’ll help you look for it? It’s equivalent to having a black cat,” he said.
Like Thomas’ son, anonymous would like to get a snake as a pet.
“Morning, Skhumba and Thomas. I’m a lover of animals, and I’d like to get an albino python and chimpanzee’s,” she shared.
“I’m from Tembisa originally; I think a monkey would be the most awkward thing. Now that I live in the burbs, my neighbour has a few monkeys, and we think it’s cute,” said a caller.
