Like 2020, 2021 has been a roller-coaster ride filled with many ups and downs. As the year nears its conclusion, Thomas and Skhumba ask Kaya 959 listeners to rate their year – “how has it been you?”

A listener shares, “For this year, I will give myself 7 out of 10. I wasn’t working last year, but I found something this year. I give my kids a ten for showing me the support.”
Connie gives herself a solid 10 out of 10
“I’m going to give myself a 10 out of 10. I’m also giving my kid and parents a 10 and another 10 for In The Morning with Thomas and Skhumba.
Through a voice note, a listener revealed that her mother deserves a 10. “2021 has been a tough year; I’d give my mom 10 out of 10 who suffered a stroke earlier this year; she is recovering,” she shared.
Vic would also love to give the team a ten. “On my scorecard, I give you guys 10; you worked. My children are getting 10, and mother is getting 10 out of 10.”
Peter gave a ten to the Kaya 959 family. “Just for opening your eyes this morning, I give you all 10 out of 10. At the school that I work at, my students, the mother at home, I give them a 9.9.” he said.
