There are certain truths we would rather not face.
Like you are going to bury your favorite person, or people who are supposed to help you, will hurt you instead. Accepting these truths is the hardest thing. But once you do, your life gets a little easier.
When you’re overwhelmed, confused, or lack drive; it’s very important to return to the basics of life.
The Best T In The City unpacked bitter truths with Kaya 959 listeners that they have had to learn and accept about themselves and about life in general.
Life can get really hard and lot of things one cannot control but eitherway through it all, you constantly have to show up and you constantly have to choose to be okay otherwise it will just drown you. For every opportunity lost or grief, you really can’t mourn forever.

Your biggest problem is you still think human beings fall in love while everything else in nature grows from something, so what’s so special about you? Next time you say you have fallen in love know this…you’ve just grown in love #TheBitterTruthYouMustAccept pic.twitter.com/dc4LcOyTnx

1. Not everyone will like you – This is one truth we all know without a doubt however for some reason we still feel the urge to make everyone like us. It be at work, amongst family, or society at large we want to be liked by all but its impossible. So, the sooner we all accept this truth the better.
2. The perfect partner does not exist – We all have the perfect partner in our heads, but reality is no one is perfect. So, while its okay to have standards its important you ensure that they are realistic. Yes, the man or woman you have made up in your mind exists, but they’re not entirely how you envision them so know this truth and you will know peace.
3. Life won’t always go according to your plans – It does not matter how much you plan your life, it won’t always go according to plan because life is simply unpredictable. So don’t be hard on yourself for your failures and disappoints. Just pick yourself up and know that life is too short to be stressed about things you can’t control.
