The festive season is upon us, which means parties from Monday to Sunday, and where there are parties, there’s plenty of alcohol.
However, you must make sure that loved ones who can’t put the glass down are safe.
“Now, how do you have an honest conversation with friends and relatives who seem to not know their alcohol limit?” Asked Tbose on The Best T in the city this morning,

- Accompany Them To The Bathroom – Once people see you’ve had one too many, it’s easy for them to take advantage of you, especially women. So, accompanying a friend to the bathroom becomes your responsibility; you shift from being out for fun to babysitting duties.
- Make Sure They Don’t Drive – For some reason, people have this terrible habit of drinking while drunk. So, while your friend may be stubborn and want to drive themselves, you end up taking over. You can’t even uber them home because you need to be there to make sure they get home safe…it’s a lot.
- Be an Alcohol Monitor – We know our friends and how much alcohol they drink. So, when going out, you start by monitoring them; maybe after six drinks, you begin rationing them because it’s downhill from there.

@tboseZA @KayaON959 I’m going out less because I’m tired of always having to play a parent role to my drunk friends. They don’t learn from their mistakes.. #FriendsThatGetDrunk pic.twitter.com/B0Um0DeK65

Talking won’t help cos they will justify themselves.. best way is to take video of them in they’re drunk state and show it 2 them when they’re sober #FriendsThatGetDrunk
