Thato Mosehle wowed the judges at the Miss Supranational final ceremony in Poland at the weekend.
South Africa’s golden girl did the country proud by claiming the second runner-up spot. Miss Supranational Namibia, Chanique Rabe, was crowned the 2021 winner.
“I am honoured to win the first Miss Supranational crown for Africa!” she wrote on Instagram.
Puerto Rico’s Karla Guilfú Acevedo was named the first runner-up.
Women from over 50 countries took part in the pageant. South Africans were bursting with pride when Mosehle made the top three.
“Congratulations Queen! Our hearts are swelling with pride, you have lifted the South African flag even higher!” Miss SA’s official Instagram page wrote.

Jessica Nkosi also showed our golden girl some love.
“So so so proud of her!!!! She looked so radiant on that stage,” she commented.
Former Miss Universe Demi-Leigh Tebow (née Nel-Peters) also praised Mosehle.
“Congratulations !!!! So proud.”

Mosehle says she had the best time at the pageant and has learned a lot about herself.
“This one is for you South Africa!!! Thank you for believing in me. I hope I made you all proud.”
Her final walk at the pageant was in a gorgeous Anel Botha gown.
“@anelbothac I am in awe of your work! I’ve never felt more beautiful in my entire life!” Mosehle said about her dress.
