Update: Eyewitness News has recently reported that Gosiame Sithole who claimed to have given birth to 10 babies has no signs of being pregnant nor delivering a baby in the past two weeks. A medical examination done at the Tembisa Hospital confirmed that Gosiame has no signs of being pregnant recently and she does not have any physical scars from a c-section.
The mother of the Tembisa 10 has reportedly been taken in for psychological evaluation according to IOL reporter Piet Rampedi, who first broke news of the decuplets.
Gosiame #Sithole‘s lawyer, Refiloe Mokoena, says her client has instructed her to apply for an urgent court interdict to force the @gpgSocDev to release her from its custody. She says Sithole is being held at Tembisa Hospital for psychological assessment against her will. https://t.co/w9Cl7FI4nk

Recent developments from the story that shocked the nation of the 10 babies born to Gosiame Sithole and Teboho Tsotetsi, is that the mother has asked her attorney Refiloe Mokoena to apply for an urgent interdict to have her released.
Gosiame was detained by police at Chloorkop on Thursday after her partner Tsotetsi filed a missing person’s report, citing that he was concerned about her whereabouts and that of the babies.
Tsotetsi claimed that Gosiame hadn’t disclosed the status of their babies and he was not allowed to see them. Together with his family, he then issued a statement that the decuplets didn’t exist.
Thereafter Gosiame was moved to the Tembisa Hospital where she has since been admitted to the psychiatric ward for evaluation.
Her lawyer could not disclose whether Gosiame’s family had given the hospital consent to hold her but her lawyer has stated that her client is being held against her will and the hospital plans on holding her for 72-hours.
There are several loopholes in the story surrounding the birth of the Tembisa 10, with some statements confirming the births of the 10 babies and others denying the story.
The babies were reported to have been born at the Steve Biko Academic Hospital in Pretoria on 7 June, however, the Gauteng Provincial government, the Department of Health and Steve Biko Hospital have all released statements that there is no evidence the births took place.
Earlier this week the mother sat down with Piet Rampedi in a video interview where she accused the father of the babies and his family of manipulating the situation.
