SuperSport TV will not be broadcasting Afcon 2023.
Viewers of SuperSport TV will not be able to watch the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations on their televisions as Multichoice was unable to obtain the broadcast rights.
It has been announced that SuperSport TV will not be airing the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations, which is scheduled to take place in Ivory Coast in January and February.
In a statement released by Multichoice channel, they revealed that the right was granted to partner broadcast stations on Free to Air (FTA) from Togo.
“SuperSport Channel will not broadcast the Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) 2023 scheduled for January 13th – February 11th, 2024, because the channel has not secured the rights to broadcast the tournament. However, AFCON 2023 games will be available through our partner broadcast stations on Free to Air (FTA) channels.”
