Kaizer Chiefs and defender Edmilson Dove are set to part ways when his contract expires at the end of June.
The Mozambican international, who joined Amakhosi in August 2022 after a six-month stint with UD Songo in Mozambique, quickly became an integral part of the team.
During his three seasons with the Glamour Boys, Dove featured in 56 official matches. He occasionally wore the captain’s armband and also contributed two goals for the club.
The club has extended its gratitude to Edmilson for his contributions to Kaizer Chiefs and wished him all the best in his future endeavours.
In May, Kaizer Chiefs also parted ways with attacking midfielder Sabelo “Bibo” Radebe.
Radebe, 25, joined Amakhosi as a teenager and rose through the junior ranks in the Kaizer Chiefs Youth Development Academy before being promoted to the reserve team in the 2017/18 season.
He signed with the senior team in the 2020/21 season following an impressive performance in the DStv Diski Challenge.
