Legendary South African sports commentator Baba Mthethwa reportedly got married for the second time last weekend to the ‘love of his love.’
Images of Mthethwa and his new wife celebrating their union with a traditional wedding, surrounded by close friends and family, have been making rounds on social media.
This comes after Mthethwa, popular for the phrase ‘Hoo Thata Banna’, underwent surgery that saw his leg get amputated due to gangrene. Mthethwa is pictured sitting in a wheelchair.
The popular broadcaster’s first marriage was to businesswoman Koosimile in 2015. The pair separated in 2019 – it is reported that Koosimile refunded Mthethwa his lobola as part of their divorce.

South African actress Innocentia Manchidi and her husband Mpho Manchidi recently celebrated their fourth wedding anniversary. Innocentia is popular for her role as Rendani in the SABC drama Muvhango.
“Thank you for the most beautiful 4 years, this is exactly how I imagined marriage to be, just a little better. Thank you for choosing me Kgosi I love you with every fiber in me,” Innocentia raved about her husband.
