Kylian Mbappe is officially the highest goalscorer in the FIFA World Cup below the age of 24.
After scoring two goals against Poland in the FIFA World Cup 2022 Round of 16 game on Sunday, 4 December, 23-year-old French striker Kylian Mbappe broke the previous record held by iconic Brazilian footballer Pele.
Mbappe has already scored more goals than any other player under 24 in the FIFA World Cup.

The star of Paris Saint-Germain currently leads all scorers in FIFA World Cup history with nine goals.

Mbappe has scored five goals in Qatar and has a two-goal lead in the race for the Golden Boot.
With nine goals in total, Mbappe now has more World Cup goals than Cristiano Ronaldo (8) and Diego Maradona (8).
The 2018 World Cup champion has already surpassed legends like Pele, as well as Lionel Messi.
