Kaizer Chiefs legend Tower Mulomowandau Erick Mathoho bows out of the Soweto club after serving for more than 10 years. The club made the announcement on Thursday.
Mathoho, 33, is one of Chiefs’ longest-serving players. He joined the Glamour Boys in 2012 at the aged of 22 from Bloemfontein Celtic. He will sadly leave the Club as we conclude the 2022/23 DStv Premiership season.

In his heartfelt letter to the club and the thanks, Mathoho thanked everything for the support and kindness.
“Firstly I’d like to thank my chairman (Dr Motaung) for the opportunity to play for one of the biggest teams in Africa, not only the country… @kcfcofficial .you and the entire family have welcomed me with open arms and treated me as one of your own throughout our entire journey.. in those 11 years we shared some great memories and moments together.
“To all Kaizer Chiefs supporters, I’d like to thank you for the support and kindness you’ve shown towards me through thick and thin, both on and off the pitch. To all my teammates I’d like to thank you for the moments we shared on the pitch❤️#love&peace.”
Mathoho has not revealed is yet revealed which club he’ll be joining next.
