Soweto giants Kaizer Chiefs have offered new contracts to three key players from the club.
In a statement shared on Thursday, Kaizer Chiefs have offered midfielder Nkosingiphile Ngcobo, as well as goalkeepers Bruce Bvuma and Brandon Petersen, new contracts.
Since joining the club’s youth academy in 2014, Bruce Bvuma’s rise through the ranks has been impressive.
The contract extension keeps Bvuma at Kaizer Chiefs until June 2026, with an option to extend for a further year. Fellow goalkeeper Brandon Petersen has also penned a contract that will see him at Chiefs until the end of June 2026, with an option to possibly add another year.
Petersen joined Chiefs from Bidvest Wits in 2020, but he was only officially registered in July 2021.
The third contract signing is for Nkosingiphile Ngcobo. Just like Bvuma, Ngcobo started playing in the team’s development structures. He was promoted in 2017, at the age of 17, and has played in various competitions, including the CAF Champions League. The player has been given a 2-year contract, with a further one-year option.
