Bryan Habana to be inducted into the Rugby World Cup Hall of Fame.
Bryan Habana will be inducted into the World Rugby Hall of Fame presented by TUDOR at the World Rugby Awards in Paris on October 29.
He will be inducted along with the other four legends. The others are Juan Martn Hernández (Argentina), George Smith (Australia), Thierry Dusautoir (France), and Dan Carter (New Zealand).
For his incredible role in South Africa’s World Cup win in 2007, Habana was named World Rugby Player of the Year, becoming the second Springbok to do so after Schalk Burger.
He had an outstanding career and was recognized as the IRB Player of the Year for 2007.
Habana tied Jonah Lomu’s record of 15 tries in World Cups at the 2015 Rugby World Cup. With 67 tries overall, he is second among all-time test try scorers.

In a heartfelt post on Instagram he reflected on his career and thanked every family member, loved one, friend, teacher, coach, supporter, critic, and administrator that was on his journey.
