South African football legend Benni McCarthy is celebrating a special milestone as his daughter Allegra turns 17 today, 15 July 2025.
Taking to social media, McCarthy shared a heartfelt birthday message in Spanish, reflecting his deep affection for his daughter.
“Happy 17th birthday to my daughter Allegra. Te quiero mucho y que tengas un día maravilloso,” he wrote, which translates to “I love you very much and hope you have a wonderful day.”
Benni McCarthy is the proud father of five children, with Allegra being one of three daughters from his previous marriage to Spanish-born Maria Jose-Santos.
The couple, who married in 2000, had three daughters together: Mya, Minna, and Allegra. Their marriage ended in 2007.
Marriage to Stacey Munro
In 2014, McCarthy married Scottish model Stacey Munro. The couple share two children: Lima Rose, born in 2012, and Lio Romeo, born in 2019.
Two years ago, Benni and Stacey celebrated their 10th wedding anniversary, marking nearly a decade of marriage. Both took to social media to exchange loving anniversary wishes, giving fans a glimpse into their close-knit family life.
