Banyana Banyana coach Desiree Ellis nominated for the CAF Women’s Coach of the Year.
The preliminary CAF Award 2023 nominees for the several women’s categories have been revealed.
The nominees were chosen by a renowned panel consisting of CAF Technical Experts, Legends, and a few representatives from the media. The panel considered the nominees’ achievements across all categories between December 2022 and November 2023.
In 2022, Ellis was named Women’s Coach of the Year at the 2022 CAF Awards in Rabat, Morocco. If she wins this year, it will be the fourth consecutive time she has won the Award.
