Simphiwe ‘Simz’ Ngema says the past few weeks have been difficult for her both physically and emotionally.
The actress dedicated an appreciation post to herself for handling the tough period with grace.
“Today, you finally took some time to reflect on everything that has happened and I want to say to you, well done! You thrive even during the most difficult times,” she wrote on Instagram.
Simphiwe also gave her followers some insight into what has happened to her in recent weeks.
“The past few weeks have been overwhelming, you’ve had to plan a funeral, go to rehearsals, performances, launch a song, meet deadlines for campaigns, be a mother and show up for your grieving family while dealing with your own grief. I honestly don’t know how you did it,” she wrote.
The former ‘Muvhango’ star made it clear that nothing will stop her from achieving her dreams.
“I’m in awe of the woman that you are. Today was about taking a deep breath and reminding yourself that you are amazing and you are doing well. I love you Quing Simz. Keep chasing those dreams and keep winning. You are a conqueror,” Simphiwe concluded.

“This has been one of my greatest experiences, a beautiful love story of two people fighting all the odds to be together. I have learnt to love again, to feel again, to live again and to smile again. I will forever be grateful for Everything you have taught me,” Simphiwe wrote.
