It felt a bit strange to have a public holiday midweek. Some of us appreciate them at the end of the week.
During the Easter weekend, we were spoilt with one public holiday on a Friday and the other on a Monday, and that was more than ideal.
Next week, we have a public holiday on a Monday which is perfect.
Did yesterday’s public holiday disturb your weekly, day-to-day momentum? Does it really matter where a public holiday is placed or you are just happy to have a day off?
In The Morning with Thomas And Skhumba listeners react:
Mapula says they should have moved it to Friday “so we can have another long weekend” as it was hard for her to get up this morning.
Refiloe also prefers a four-day workweek with a long weekend. She says she partied like there was no tomorrow and now she forgot to get up for work.

It doesn’t matter when you are self-employed.

Speaking of which, June 16 is on a Thursday. Having said that though, I think we are only obsessed with the idea of a 4 day weekend, it'll bore us once we have it. Just use dstv premium as an example. #WeLoveItInTheMorning
