A few videos have been making rounds in recent days showing school kids behaving in a disorderly manner.
First we saw a video of kids fighting in a class and then in the same video, one learner jumps on the back of a teacher. In another video we see highschool leaners all smoking weed on the school’s premises dressed in school uniform.
“Have you ever asked your kids what they think about the state of their school?” Asked Thomas in today’s Morning Show.
“I don’t want to say that my kids will never do this. I’m scared that if I see my kids do this i might lose it. What’s scary is that these kids don’t seem bothered by what they are doing,” shares Skhumba.
“We would be scared of the consequences. Walking outside of the school without your shirt tucked in you’d think you’re being a rebel. The headmaster would call you out,” adds Thomas.
A listener, who’s related to one of the learners in one video shares: “For the second video it’s actually embarrassing because my cousin is in it. We come from a humble family and seeing her there is very shocking and embarrassing. Especially in her school uniform.”
An educator details one of her horrific experiences at the school she works in.
“I remember when I was three months pregnant in Tembisa where I work and the kids were fighting and jumping over me. Sometimes you just have to let them fight because the more you get involved is the more you get hurt,” she shares.
