When we say the Lord’s Prayer there is a part where we say “Forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us”.
Simply put, we seek forgiveness when we do wrong but do we forgive those who have wronged us?
“As a forgiving nation should we forgive ex-prisoners and allow them back into society after they’ve served their time?” Asks Tbose on The Best T in the City.
A listener shares: “I think when it comes to forgiveness we don’t have a choice. The crime was done but we have to forgive. Remember forgiveness helps you to heal.”
Another listener shares “Two guys and two women stabbed my child at month-end when he was returning from work. I don’t have the strength anymore and I don’t think I’ll ever forgive them. I grew up with the people who did this.”
Here’s what people are saying on social media:
No crime can be forgivable where life is lost, loss of your valuables, crime is a crime we cannot forgive you for committing such. @tboseZA

Society can forgive them but not me. Maybe after they came to me and explain their reason of poisoning my grandmother and beating my uncle to death. Maybe. Anyway, I dont believe in forgiveness uncle @tboseZA . I think it done done by pretenders
