“What should you do if he/she doesn’t want to try new things in bed?” Was the question posed to Kaya 959’s listeners by Tbose on The Best T in the City.
Do you outright tell them they need to be more open-minded to trying new things or do you find creative ways of bringing about the conversation?
Our newsreader Angie says you need to know how to stroke your partner’s ego. “You stroke that male go. It might sound conniving a bit but the thing is, once you compliment regularly the person starts thinking it’s their idea kante you were just planting the seeds there and there,” she advises.
Reactions from The Best T in the City listeners:
Lucky says trying new things landed him in hospital. “New things for what? New things once landed me in hospital Bra T after my hip locked so please don’t tell me about trying new things,” he shares.
A listener says timing is important.
“The best time to introduce something new is when you both are in a good mood. The last fight must be a month ago. Everything must be fine. You can’t be introducing new styles while you are angry at one another because you know how males are. He’ll be jumping into conclusions.”

Phela, a relationship is about sex and other things, so if he is not comfortable enough to try new things with you, then what's the point of relationshiping?#HeWontTryNewThings pic.twitter.com/FKa7Bp3jVC
#HeWontTryNewThings …Sure some things; styles, toys we'll try… but mentally we're not ready for others… We are Africans. Bondage & whips can't be pleasure for us, we've been incarcerated & whipped for decades. We're only just enjoying our freedom so go easy on us😊
