Last year on Tbose’s birthday The Best T in the City spoke about ‘Dating a widow.’ The question posed to Kaya 959’s listeners on the day was “how soon is soon for a widow or a wider to move on?”
Today we want to find out how are you finding love? How has it been?
“There’s this lady who’s a widow and she’s making me weak at the knees. We are very happy together. Her husband may have passed on but I’ll love and comfort her for as long as I’m alive,” a listener shares.
Anonymous, who lost his wife four weeks says it’s hard to get over it. “If I can get someone who can understand me as a person and I understand them I don’t think it’s a problem.”
One of the things most men who are dating widows said they found challenging was “comparison.”
Mbali says “it’s one of those things that one has to accept. She adds, “whatever impact they had in the person your with’s life will always be there. You must tell yourself and understand that it is not a competition.”
