There are times when you pick up things in a relationship with your partner that really leaves you worried.
How your partner treats you is one of those things, especially if they treat everyone else in the world different from you.
Being occasionally sad in a relationship is at times part of the journey, but it is equally important to pay attention to things that make you unhappy.

Point of View with Phemelo Motene spoke to Nhlanhla and Magauta Zwane on what to do when your partner is nice to the world but mean to you.

Magauta explained how certain individuals can be inconsistent with how they treat their partners vs the world.
“This person is terrified of his dark side, not that he’s not in touch, and avoids his dark side with everything in them, except for when they are at home. They don’t want the world to see it, they have come to excel at trading with the world, They are calculating… These are the people that will tell the people in your family, including the dogs and the cats and chicken that when so and so’s car arrives I know I am going to be fed. Everyone sings their praises except for their children and your spouse.” says Magauta.

She also spoke about how people tend to be good at giving a false impression of themselves to the world.
“Someone must have seen you mad, have you ever seen cashiers that look like they have just taken a shower, at 6 pm when their shift is about to end? Why do you still look this squeaky clean at this time of day, it must show that the day has taken a toll on you.”
The Zwanes also explained how it tends to be human nature that compels us to react or decide to exclude those who treat us unfairly from our lives. However, when humans are already receiving harsh treatment, some people still decide to stay.
This, they say is something we might not comprehend, but it happens frequently, especially when your partner is the one who treats you badly.
They offered ideas on how to navigate a situation where a partner is nice to the world but mean to everyone in their household.
