The ‘Cabbage Bandit”s case has been thrown out of court.
Joe Nkuna aka ” The Cabbage Bandit” went viral earlier this when he got in trouble for growing cabbage and other vegetables on the pavement outside his Pretoria home.

Nkuna joined Point of View with Phemelo Motene to discuss the case and his subsequent win of the court case.
“The city wrote to us last week Thursday, we got a letter that said the case we had been preparing for, which should have happened yesterday (23 November) was no longer going to happen. That they had dropped the charges against me.”
“You must remember that we submitted our representations on the 28th of September, so it took them more than a month to come back to us. Anyway I am glad the matter has been finalized.”

Nkuna also took to social media to thank everyone for supporting him through his journey:
“My patriotas, once again thank you for the loud support. Without your vigilance, I would have been a certified cabbage criminal. Lynched, with a criminal record to prove. To my lawyer, Adv Puseletso Loselo I say thank you for the fantastic pro bono work. I am forever grateful. Power and bread to the People!” he said.
