Former radio DJ, Ngizwe Mchunu, is scheduled to appear in court on Thursday morning for his bail hearing.
Mchunu’s lawyers will present evidence before the Randburg magistrate’s court in support of a bail bid.

The former Ukhozi FM presenter was charged with one count of inciting public violence and two counts of being in contravention of the Disaster Management Act.

He was arrested regarding the violent unrest that broke out in KwaZulu-Natal and Gauteng mid-July.
Mchunu was one of the South Africans who was very vocal about his disapproval about the imprisonment of former president Jacob Zuma.

News 24 reports that he allegedly evaded the police five times before handing himself over to Durban police on July 19.
