At least 10 people, including children were injured after an amusement park ride in Mohali, India crashed to the ground.
The giant spinning wheel which is about 80-ft (25 meters) high, malfunctioned and came hurtling to the ground on Sunday, 04 September.
Eyewitnesses say adequate safety measures were not in place, and the amusement park operators refused to comment.
A video capturing the moment the spinning wheel crashes, shows the moment of impact with a few of the ride’s patrons being flung into the air.
Five adult males, 3 women and 5 children were rushed to hospital with injuries. The victims complained of neck, abdominal and back injuries.
The spinning wheel in Mohali reportedly had 15 people on board the ride when it crashed.
