The lawyers of the laid-off Twitter team have reportedly confirmed that Twitter is preparing to negotiate with the team.
Elon Musk terminated a sizable number of Twitter employees, including those based in Ghana, after buying the company.
Former employees of the Twitter Africa HQ had threatened to sue Musk for their treatment after their termination from the company.
Those who were fired from Twitter’s Africa headquarters now blamed the business for “deliberately and carelessly flouting Ghanaian regulations” and attempting to “suppress and intimidate” them after they were fired.
“They also allege that, unlike workers in the United States and Europe, they were not told about the following measures until a day after CNN reported on their issue,” said CNN correspondent Larry Madowo.
