Twitter users globally have expressed their frustrations as the social media platform experiences a global outage.
This amid the heated takeover battle between Elon Musk and Twitter’s current owners.
The outage has been reported by users across the world, from the US to the UK, with a number of South Africans reporting the issue as well.
According to DownDetector, Twitter’s site crashed at around 13h00 on Thursday, 14 July.
Twitter hasn’t issued a statement regarding the outage, although users have indicated there’s issues with the site refreshing.
The dispute between Elon Musk and Twitter continues as the billionaire said he wants to withdraw his bid to buy the platform in a $44 billion takeover.
