Economic Freedom Fighters leader Julius Malema has given a stern warning to President Cyril Ramaphosa to not test the EFF’s patience.
Malema said the EFF is concerned about what he called the ongoing degeneration and destruction of South Africa under the present administration of Ramaphosa, as well as the entire collective of the “failed former liberation movement” during a media briefing on Thursday afternoon in Johannesburg.
In the media briefing, he said Ramaphosa did everything under the sun to avoid accountability.

He claimed that this time, they will approach the motion in a new way, going to court and involving all political parties in Parliament, including the ANC, which is currently in power.
“We will approach the Courts of South Africa to compel Parliament to conduct a thorough and transparent investigation of all the crimes committed by Cyril Ramaphosa, with the aim of building a solid case for an impeachment.“
“We will write a formal communique to the ANC and ask them to stand with us on this matter. The president is held by a faction, your Ronald Lamolas, that feels that they will become collateral damage when he leaves.”

“The EFF will also form part of all progressive formations and organizations in South Africa to plan and engage in a NATIONAL SHUT DOWN which will seek to remove Cyril Ramaphosa from office.
“The nature and character of a National Shutdown which the EFF will partake in will not be a candle holding and white flags type of a Shutdown. It will be a Shutdown that must communicate to the sitting government that enough is enough!” Malema said.
