Acclaimed music producer Chicco Twala insists that his son, Longwe, should face jail time if found guilty in the murder of Senzo Meyiwa.
Twala maintains that the law must take its course for any house occupant present during Meyiwa’s killing who is found guilty.
In a candid interview with Kaya News, Twala expressed disappointment with defense attorney Thulani Mngomezulu’s strategy.
During Monday’s cross-examination of investigating officer Sergeant Batho Mogola, Mngomezulu presented details from Sifiso Meyiwa’s affidavit. The 2019 document claims Sifiso was informed by PSL chairperson Dr. Irvin Khoza that his brother was shot while trying to intervene in an argument between Longwe and Kelly Khumalo.
Senzo Meyiwa was tragically shot and killed in October 2014.
Twala strongly criticizes Sifiso Meyiwa’s 2019 claims, considering nearly five years had passed since Senzo’s death. He emphasizes that any occupant of the house found guilty on that night should face legal repercussions.
