Three kids die after suffocating inside a family vehicle in Limpopo.
Three children died after they found themselves trapped in a vehicle in the heat in Bolebedu, Tzaneen, this week, said Limpopo police.
The incident took place on Wednesday afternoon, 10 January when two of the children who were siblings went to play with their neighbour, the third child.
Limpopo police has urged parents and guardians to remain vigilant and adhere to safety guidelines to prevent such devastating incidents in the future.
The siblings, a three-year-old boy and his six-year-old sister, left their house to play with their two-year-old neighbour.

“According to the information available at this stage, the two children, a three-year-old boy and his six-year-old sister went to play next door with the two-year-old girl and while playing, they got inside a parked vehicle with all the windows closed.
They were later discovered unconscious by a younger relative who alerted the elders. The three children were then rushed to the local clinic. Two were declared dead on arrival, the third one,a 3-year-old boy was transferred to Kgapane Hospital and later to Mankweng where he was admitted and later pronounced dead.
Police are still investigating the circumstances surrounding the tragic incident.”
