With panic mounting over the National Shutdown which is taking place on Monday, 20 March, some possible road closures are below for motorists to avoid.
The areas that are said to be no-go zones are mostly Midrand as well as Johannesburg CBD.
Midrand as a whole is being pitted as one of the major central points of the National Shutdown.
The EFF who have already started making their voices known with pickets at Siemans South Africa over what they call unfair labour practices.
In a build-up to Monday, the EFF have begun what they say is a revolt against white monopoly capital or white supremacy and are lobbying their forces against right-wing forces.
“We are ready, they are not going to stop us, and we are going to close South Africa.
We are going to make sure that Ramaphosa resigns and we are going to make sure that the people of South Africa get electricity and we will end loadshedding.”
On Friday, 17 March, EFF members took to the streets to rally people to join in the shutdown on Monday.
Some EFF members entered a number of supermarkets to stress that the public heed their call to shutdown the country and get Ramaphosa out of office.
Meanwhile, the President has made it clear that anarchy and disorder will not be allowed during Monday’s shutdown.
