Over 67 men have been arrested for the gang rape of 8 women on the set of a music video in Krugersdorp.
The women between the ages of 19 and 37-years old, were raped by multiple men, whilst filming the video near a mine dump in the area.
Police arrested 67 men in connection with the rape of the 8 women on Friday, and a further 16 suspects were arrested on Saturday, 30 July.
The men were arrested for contravening the Immigration Act, having also robbed the women off their belongings.
Two suspects for fatally shot after they allegedly pointed firearms at police during the arrests.
A total of 32 counts of rape are being investigated, and police are working on finding evidence to link the men to the heinous crime committed.
Police Minister Bheki Cele said DNA tests and an identification parade will be done soon, to determine if the men arrested raped the women.
He said police were giving the women some time to deal with the trauma before they commence the invasive process.
The men are said to be from Malawi, Cameroon, Zimbabwe, Lesotho and Mozambique.
