Convicted killer Ntuthuko Shoba has been sentenced to life behind bars for the murder of Tshegofatso Pule.
The sentence has been handed down by Judge Stuart Wilson at the Gauteng High court in Johannesburg today.
Shoba was found guilty earlier this year of being the mastermind behind the murder of Tshegofatso Pule.
Pule was 31 weeks pregnant with Shoba’s unborn daughter at the time of her murder at the hands of Muzikayise Malephane on orders from Pule.
She was first stabbed before being hung from a tree in Roodepoort on June 4, 2020.
Our reporter Katleho Sekhotho attended the court proceedings this afternoon. She describes the scene as “incredibly emotional.”
“It’s an incredibly emotional scene here at the Gauteng High court in Johannesburg after Judge Stuart Wilson sentenced convicted killer Ntuthuko Shoba to life in prison for the murder of Tshegofatso Pule.
“The judge made it clear that Shoba will remain behind bars for the whole of his natural life until parole officers decide he is fit for release.
